Deborah Thompson is an Associate Professor of English at Colorado State University, where she helped to develop the new master’s degree in Creative Nonfiction. She has published numerous essays in literary criticism and nonfiction.  Her piece “Mishti Kukur,” which appeared in The Iowa Review, was awarded a Pushcart prize.  Debby belongs to the Slow Sand Writer’s Society, to whose members she is beyond grateful.
